Features
The Analysis
You can download the analysis as an Excel file with several tabs, each holding specific data. The tabs are briefly explained below. See the E-Learning for more information about the different tabs.
Summary tab
This tab gives a quick overview of the analysis, with a colour-coded overview of the sounds and a table of error types per target sound.
Words tab
This tab lists all entered words, ordered by the initial and final sounds of their syllables.
Percentage correct by sound tab
This tab lists the sounds in order of acquisition. For each sound, it shows how often the child pronounced it correctly. It also holds the PCC, PCC-R and PMLU, and an overview of sound acquisition ordered by place and manner of articulation.
Sounds tab
For each sound, this tab shows whether it was produced correctly and how often it was produced. If the sound was pronounced incorrectly, it shows which process took place (for example deletion, position error or insertion).
Processes tab
This tab lists every phonological process that occurs and the sounds it occurs on. For each phonological process, it also shows how often it occurred in initial and in final position.
Word clusters tab
This tab lists the entered words that contain clusters, ordered by initial and final position.
Percent correct by cluster tab
For each cluster, this tab shows how often the child pronounced it correctly, with initial and final clusters shown separately.
Clusters tab
For each cluster, this tab shows whether it was produced correctly and how often it was produced. If the cluster was pronounced incorrectly, it shows which process took place (for example deletion, position error or insertion).
Processes clusters tab
This tab lists every phonological process that occurs in the clusters and the sounds it occurs on. For each phonological process, it also shows how often it occurred in initial and in final position.
Cycles and patterns tab
This tab lists the sounds ordered according to a Hodson & Paden cycle.
Entry tab
This tab shows the original input: target words, pronunciation, utterance and any notes.
